Please postpone pay revision....


come duragapuja and its time of celebration, apart from regular joy and happines SAIL people had lot of other reasons to smile, pay revision scheduled to be finalised, gold coins and ofcourse bonus....everthing was moving as per plan with people checking and rechecking the arrears they were expecting to get, and correspondingly planning their expenses....everything looked rosy and everyone had reason to smile...
and then came the SMS...arrears finalised..E1..E2.....
it was something around 62.5 k for E1...and so smiles turned into laughter .. phones started ringing with friends asking for parties.. and we too confirming ofcourse man ...
BUT....there was a trap too... applicable only to people enrolled with SAIL till 31dec 2006....
what .. was the first word that came out...leaving everyone shocked...it cant be .. and then started enquiries..phone calls ..and ones the confirmation came.. all dreams all plans were shattered.....2nd news... bonus is all performance linked and no gold coins for 2007 onwards people...
all the laughs and happiness of trainees hostel suddenly vanished...and these were sufficient reasons to stop smiling..
the charm of puja was found missing people thinking that why management is doing all this, why the batch should suffer...
with officer association requesting us to wait and watch till pay revision is finalised., and assuring that we will do something for your arrears and gold coins... everyone was trying to do something for solution. a small ray of hope came by announcement of 7000 arrears for 2007 batch with gold coins under consideration...the batch is all at sea about their future and their stay in company.
from the initial picture of pay revision, things are not at all bright rather we will not be getting much benefit out of it unless management gives us additional increment after revision , and the wide gap between the scale of our immediate batch is sufficient reason to demotivate us.
so its time for all the 2007 batch people to come together and request the management to give it a thought and do something for us to. your suggestion are requested with how we can go for it....please come together for change .. before its too late....

ITs time to aim for a responsible officer association....

Elections are our pride, they can also be privation.They bring out the best in us, they reveal the worst.They excite us, exhaust us.They can like a good monsoon bring hope, they can like failed monsoon bring gloom.This is not about who wins and who loses.its about what win and how.and what loses and why.
certain victories can be more embarrassing than defeats, certain defeats more honourable than victories... BUT... now the writing is on wall ... with results declared on the same date of polling... its time to welcome the new office bearers of BSOA, bokaro steel officers association.. above all complains and personal disputes.

lets congrats all the winners for their success and support them for smooth functioning of the association.bokaro collective congrats all the office bearers of BSOA,

with new batch MT(T) induction starting from 31 aug.. the hostel,campus is all flooded with new recruits , all at sea trying to understand the culture of professional life they are to start from 2moro... all the best to you too. confusion about package , arrears, place posting ... queries from seniors.. frustrations, expectations...and excitement...is in air making new ones a duck in thunderstorms....

But with all these ...the campus remains cool with girls and boys.. sitting for long hours in mess arena...missing their college life , tasting and disscussing a bit of those left out moments here... but its a begining to an END.... ya....its an end of professor .. life ..and begining of professional life..... so lets raise a toast.... cheers.....

SAIL......sailing high...


with the Training hostel in bokaro all shining and glowing , mess attentends well dressed with napkins, flower pots in the mess...and trimming of grass in the campus just forced me to enquire
'HEY .. wats wrong man .. ... why all this.....
waaaat..... was the reply
u call it something going wrong... idiot dont know its joining of new batch .....and soooo....

ohhhhh sorry sorry .... i forgot .. what to do yaaar .. ye plant life and shift duties are taking away my sharp memory ......shayaad mai apne aap ko bhulne laga hu ....

anyways... with new batch all through campus from IITs and ISM, sail is undergoing massive restructuring and reorganising itself and these recruitments from premier institute is a step in this direction.welcome MT(T) 2009 batch to SAIL family....

with officers association election round the corner, all the candidates are targetting the new recruits...VOTE for change.. is the election agenda...keeping all the voters at sea...that who will be the positive change and who negative..

chairman visit, new batch induction, elections, gold coins, bonus, and pay revisions...are hot talks in the campus....apart from record hot metal production in july with in sail family....

making bokaro hot and bokaro steel plant a hot spot for a months atleast.

anyways...with coming of new batch things are changing ..and i call it a positive change....and the trainee hostel is becoming the most happening place in the city ....
sooooo... lets enjoy the move and gossips.....with your eyes and ears wide open ... but mouth SHUT.....
